  • DATA

The area for the Pope's Park was designated and dedicated to the project after the Pope's, John Paul II, visit to Poland. The Pope's Altar was initially put in the Park, though nowadays the Sierakowice commune has decided to commemorate this visit by revitalizing the park space. This area should serve to integrate the local community by creating the possibility to organize religious and cultural events in the Park.
